The Friends of the Opera House invite everyone to become a friend of a unique and historic building in our Grand Ledge community. This is a special invitation to join a group of your Grand Ledge friends and neighbors who want to help the Grand Ledge Opera House continue to be an important social and cultural center of our Grand Ledge community. We hope you will join us in this effort.
MISSION STATEMENT OF THE FRIENDS OF THE OPERA HOUSE
The mission of the Friends of the Opera House shall be:
- To increase community awareness and involvement with the Opera House
- To encourage greater utilization of the Opera House facilities for public meetings, private social occasions and community organizations
- To offer a variety of cultural events that will be of interest to people in the Grand Ledge area and greater Lansing community
- To vigorously plan for and implement programs that will ensure the vitality of the Opera House for future generations

ENDOWMENT FUND
The Grand Ledge Opera House endowment fund was implemented in conjunction with the Capital Region Community Foundation to enhance long range funding. All contributions to and revenue from the Grand Ledge Opera House endowment fund will be used solely to develop and maintain the facility and grounds.
The Capital Region Community Foundation manages the Opera House endowment fund. The foundation was established in 1987 and holds a collection of nearly 400 charitable funds created by individuals, families, businesses and organizations to support a range of charitable needs in the community. Gifts to the fund are eligible for a federal tax deduction to the extent provided by law.
Your gift to the Opera House endowment fund may be made in many forms, such as cash, stocks, bonds, real estate and/or personal property. When donating directly to the endowment fund, please make checks payable to Capital Region Community Foundation and specify the donation is for the Grand Ledge Opera House Endowment Fund.
